Agri-ProFocus country coordinators meeting 5-7 July
This week, 5 – 7 July Agri-ProFocus is organizing its third core-group meeting, this time in Beekbergen Netherlands.
The timing of this meeting is very opportune, as relationships between the APF Agri-Hubs and the Embassies in focus countries have gained more prominence. The success of the Agri-Hubs is bringing out requests for additional APF countries such as Benin and Mali.
The meeting will bring together
- APF Country coordinators (Benin, Ethiopia, Mali, Niger, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Mozambique, Zambia)
- Knowledge facilitators (KIT and WUR/CDI)
- Network facilitators (Agri-ProFocus)
- Lead agency representatives (Cordaid, ICCO, Oxfam, SNV)
Objective
- Mobilized mutual support for solutions to specific challenges at country level
- Validated joint challenges and solutions for improved functioning of the Agri-Hubs and joint action groups
- Formulated concrete proposals for increased local ownership of the Agri-Hubs
- Agreed on the entry points for cross border thematic learning for farmer entrepreneurship
- Revisited and established a clear division of roles and ways of working for our core group
The meeting is on invitation only. A report will be shared in due course
