Open market place for Food Security Exchange

The Ministries of Foreign and Economic Affairs together with the Food & Business Knowledge Platform are organizing a four-day food security exchange visit for policy officers from Dutch Embassies, from May 6 to May 9, 2014 in the Netherlands.

Approximately 20 participants representing some 12 Embassies in partner countries for Dutch development cooperation will be joining to exchange their experiences in implementing their policies with regard to food security. The four day program consists of visits to the Hague, Wageningen and companies and partner organizations all over the Netherlands, that are involved at the specific request of the Embassies.

The organizers invite you for an open market place on Wednesday May 7 in the afternoon, at the campus of Wageningen. During this market, partners (companies, knowledge institutes, NGOs) can present themselves with an exhibition stand and/or claim a pitch in the speakers corner. Partners can also choose to just visit the open market place for networking with the Embassies and other organizations. The open market place will start at 14:00 and is closed at 16:30 with drinks.

Please subscribe with Klaas de Vries (WUR-CDI, [email protected]), indicating which option you would like to use (exhibition stand; speakers corner; networking). More information will follow after subscription.
