Farmers, bankers and the government helped to identify and address concerns in financing agricultural entrepreneurship and enhancing food security. With far more participants than had been expected, the event can be considered yet another Ugandan success.
The Agri-Finance Fair took place on 21-22 February in Musanze, in Northern Rwanda. Whereas before, banks often turned farmer entrepreneurs away when they came to ask for a loan, now they know how to find each other.
